Bobbi Brown studio manager Mashita A. shows Belynda Sim, a 29-year-old planner, how to use pink without looking girlish.
GET BELYNDA’S LOOK
[ STEP 1 ]
Mashita lightly patted in concealer around Belynda’s undereye area. Bobbi Brown once said that concealer is the “secret of the universe” – as it allows you to fake a good night’s sleep and glowing skin.
[ STEP 2 ]
She used Pot Rouge For Lips & Cheeks in Pink Raspberry as a base for the cheeks. The cream texture helps keep powder blusher on skin longer – use it on its own or under blusher.
[ STEP 3 ]
Pink Raspberry Blush was dusted lightly on the apples of cheeks – the colour looks intense but comes out light and natural. Mashita says: “Applying powder blush to the apples of the cheeks gives the face a 3-D effect.”
[ STEP 4 ]
Then Navajo Eye Shadow was applied all over Belynda’s eyelids and up to the browbone, where it works as a highlighter.
[ STEP 5 ]
Liquid eyeliner is harsh so Mashita dabbed Fog Eye Shadow and swept it along the upper and lower lashlines. “Powder is buildable”, she adds, so if the line is too light, you can add another layer.
[ STEP 6 ]
Mashita finished off with Creamy Lip Color in Rose Petal, then lined Belynda’s lips with Lip Crayon in Wild Raspberry and topped it off with Lip Gloss in Pink Popsicle.
