Don’t have time for sex? We tell you how to steal great sex moments, even if you have only a few minutes to spare.

At the end of a long day juggling client meetings and baby responsibilities, the last thing on your mind is having a sexy romp with your husband. But while a night of lovemaking is wonderful in its own right, sometimes a quickie can be just as fulfilling. And the thrill of having sex unexpectedly or in risque locations adds an element of excitement too. “Sometimes a quickie is just that – a no-frills scratch for an itch,” says Dr Martha Lee, clinical sexologist and founder of Eros Coaching.

While we’re not suggesting forgoing all those candlelit moments, sexy, spontaneous sessions of passion can increase intimacy and deliver instant gratifi cation. “Quickies are the Big Macs of the sex world. They are pure, guilty pleasure,” says Joan Elizabeth Lloyd, author of Now and Forever: Let’s Make Love.

The key to a well-executed quickie is timing it right. Depending on how much time you have, here’s what you can do to tame that tiger in you – pronto.
