to have and to fold

PETITE FOUR
This simple fold may be a common childhood game but its compartments make a fun and appetising way to serve your party snacks. For a sturdier fold, use thicker paper.

DIRECTIONS

To make crease lines, fold a square piece of paper in half, then unfold. Repeat the other way.
Fold in each of the four corners to the midpoint to form a smaller square.
Turn the paper over and fold in all corners to form an even smaller square.

Fold the paper in half horizontally into a rectangle, then unfold. Fold in half vertically and unfold.
Turn the square over. With one finger in the centre on one side, slip the fingers of your other hand under each flap and press them downwards to form the pockets.
Place the point side down, turn down the flap of each pocket, and fill with your favourite snacks.
